In 1995, American Health Value, LLC maintains its corporate headquarters in Boise, Idaho. American Health Value is a privately held company. Our custodian has assets totaling $838.8 million as of September 30, 2005. American Health Value has maintained significant growth since its inception and positioned itself as the nation's leader in providing cost effective Health Savings Accounts.
 
Michael B. Berry, Chief Executive Officer, has held this position for over five years. Before entering the healthcare industry, he worked for 15 years as an Executive Director/Administrator for large law firms, was an Executive Council Agent for New York Life specializing in Estate Planning, and worked for Sedgwick of Idaho as a Property and Casualty Insurance Consultant. Mr. Berry has been licensed in Life, Health, Property, Casualty, Series 6, and 63 Securities. A decorated Vietnam veteran, Mr. Berry holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration.
 
Mr. Berry actively participated in promoting the expansion of the MSA Program into the HSA Program through his involvement with CAHI (Council for Affordable Health Insurance) and the NRCC (National Republican Congressional Committee). American Health Value is a founding member of CAHI and Mr. Berry serves as Chairman for the National HSA Working Committee, which in part, works directly with the IRS and the US Department of Treasury on interpretation and implementation of the HSA Program. For his service, the NRCC appointed Mr. Berry to serve as Idaho’s member on the new Presidential Business Commission and the National Business Advisory Council. In 2003, the NRCC honored Mr. Berry with the prestigious “Idaho Businessman of the Year” for his achievements. Accomplished author and speaker, Mr. Berry continues to give numerous presentations and seminars across the nation.
